Birkenstock has had its roots in orthopedic footwear in Germany for over 200 years. The tradition of the Birkenstock style and functions continues in the Classics Collection and is as popular as ever. The custom orthotic cork footbed provides exceptional support and control and all Birkenstock footwear can be recondition at our service center.

Tatami® and Footprints® models feature a molded polyurethane outsole and removable footbed. This design lends itself to customization and provide easy fitting and adjustment. Tatemi® custom footbeds can also be transferred between other Tatami® and Birki® models. Orthotic footbed may be coded separately as an other device.

  This is Birkenstock’s classic and most popular two strap design. Available in sizes 35 to 50 regular and barrow widths (Mocha and Brown to size 46 only)

Each pair is custom made to your provided patient model and is expertly handcrafted by our in-house fabricators. Fabrication time in the lab is generally under one week. The A.C.T. custom orthotic footbed features an UltraSuede® abrasion resistant top cover and renewable, natural cork/latex custom molded layer.

You simply provide your patients' foot impressions, a weight bearing tracing of their feet and your design requirements, and we will do the rest. We will size the footwear and fabricate them to your specifications. The finished product will provide both comfort and efficacy in treating your patients' therapeutic needs.

Quick Turnaround Means Happier Patients.

Turnaround from the time we receive your impressions until you receive your custom footwear averages less than two weeks including shipping time. Express handling is available for an extra charge. Please call in advance for Express Handling.

Semi Weight-Bearing Impressions Assure Great Results.

As makers of custom footwear, we prefer semi weight-bearing foot impressions ta ensure a foot model that can be accurately sized and reproduced. The objective is to capture the foot shape in corrected subtalar position while providing accurate arch length, heel width, forefoot splay and overall length. This assures a comfortable plantar foot shape to which appropriate posting/corrections can be mode. Preferred impression methods are:
